Gold Coin Laundromat

I wanted to design a poster ad for a local laundromat. It had all the cool washers, driers and environment but it didn't have the ads to match it.

The goal is to create a vibrant billboard ad that captures the laundromat’s clean, friendly, and retro-inspired atmosphere.

I took inspiration from the 60s mascot cartoons and designed my own mascots. I created Goldie the Coin and Spudsy the Washer. I took the original slogan from the laundromat and incorporated that into the poster. I decided to stick with retro pastel colours throughout the project. This blends nostalgic cartoon charm with modern advertising to create a fun, memorable, and eye-catching promotional piece!
